D2Zero appoints Group General Counsel and Director of Corporate Affairs

D2Zero, the decarbonisation and clean energy solutions Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicola Macleod as General Counsel and Director of Corporate Affairs.

Nicola joins the Group from Spirit Energy, where she has been Executive Vice President, General Counsel since 2018. In this role, she held responsibility for legal and commercial activities including Board governance, regulatory affairs, compliance, acquisitions and divestments, and joint venture management. Prior to this, Nicola was Director, Legal, Commercial & External Relations at Maersk Oil.

A Fellow of the Institute of Directors and member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, Nicola has also held several non-executive roles. She has an MA in Politics, an MSc, a Law degree and Master of Commercial Laws, and is recognised in the Energy Council’s Top Female Leaders.
